Fathers are providers. Fathers are the safe-holders of our lives. Fathers are Parents too. Fathers are our mentors. Fathers are Breadwinners, in most, not all American Families. Fathers are our stones when we are in a tight spot. Fathers are companions. Fathers are Lovers. Fathers are role models. Fathers are educators.
It doesn’t take blood to make a Father. Any man can produce a child. It takes a Real Man to be a Father. It takes standing up for what they believe in. It takes a stiff hand and a gentle touch all at the same time. Each Father is different, but for a true Father it means opening up your heart, even if it continuously gets broken.
The first American Fathers Day was held July 5th 1908, six years after The Thomas Ranch was founded. It was actually held as a memorial for a deadly mine explosion, which happened in Monongah, West Virginia.
On Fathers Day everything and we Commemorate Fathers and Forefathers for all their sacrifices they have given to us.
Most gifts given to Fathers on Fathers day are filled with slogans such as, “Worlds Best Dad.”

I don’t know about the rest of you Dads, but some things on that list sound good, while others don’t sound too hot to us. What would we want with an Auto Card Manager, or a set of Golf Clubs? What would I do with Facial Care Products, or Grooming Kits? Wine for some I guess would be all right. Now when you start getting into the Fishing Gear and the Swiss Army Knife, or any knife combo that I can think of, that would be great. Sporting Event tickets I guess for the majority of the world would be great, but us being a Ranch I would think maybe special tickets for an upcoming Rodeo Event would be even better. A Watch is always a great gift Idea if your Father is still wearing one from over ten years ago.
