Fishing Trip
After a trip to Michigan for a nice vacation Casey, Bo and Russell headed out to fish Lake Lawtonka because they got addicted to the taste of Walleye. Russell decided to show them how to fish for Walleye. So next time he is deployed they can still go out on their own and catch as many as they want.

So with minimal tools they headed out and started catching some small Walleyes. They were catching small Walleye all day long. Lake Lawtonka has a 14” minimum limit. Around 5 pm the Lake Lawtonka Walleye came to life and really started hopping. The big boys moved in and everyone started catching some really big ones.

Casey came out on the top of the heap. She landed 5.5 lbs Walleye. A true monster. Russell is going to have that Walleye mounted for her. (A quick update is that it is hanging in their dining room.

If you decided to Fish at Lake Lawtonka, Oklahoma, then try to fish using minnows and fish around the dam and or any of the many docks. The hotter it is outside the deeper you need to Fish.
